Instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day, the traditional way, newly single Vanessa Hudgens spent the day amidst the New York Fashion Week frenzy with BFF Britanny Snow.

It’s Vanessa Hudgens’ first time to attend Fashion Week, but our girl made sure she came prepared. Vanessa wore an Alice + Olivia sequined tank dress for the Alice + Olivia fashion show that day, and when she hopped over to watch the Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 presentation, she changed into Marc Jacobs no less.

Here is Vanessa Hudgens’ Marc Jacobs jacket in a different color:

This certainly doesn’t look like it’s the same color as Vanessa’s own jacket, but it’s a bit difficult to be sure about that. As anyone who has shopped on the Internet would know, things have a tendency to look different on the monitor and in real life. And especially since this Marc Jacobs jacket is satin, there’s a chance that it might be reflecting the light differently in Vanessa’s pictures and in the product images above.

Anyway, if Vanessa’s jacket IS a different color, I think I prefer the pale pink satin in the product images over the dusty pink in the actress’ paparazzi shots. The different shades of pink look great together, but I feel like everything else in her outfit would pop out more with the pale pink. The dusty pink is more toned down and easier to wear, but it dulls down the what could have been a nice shock of orange on Vanessa’s clutch.
