One thing we know for sure about the world of fashion is that it works in advance. With winter weather’s near departure, some of us are already looking ahead and preparing for the latest and greatest offerings the upcoming spring season will bring. To take it a step further, designers are even trained to think a full two seasons ahead, which have them now ramping up their A/W 2013 collections.

A great example of this was the recent London Collections: MEN show. Dedicated solely to menswear collections, the show itself featured upcoming trends that we can expect to see next winter.

One such trend to note is tonal outfitting. In short, this is the simple practice of wearing pieces in shades of the same color. While nothing new, as we have seen this with the recent monochromatic movement, tonal dressing will still be quite visible in shows and collections nonetheless.

Eddie Redmayne seemed to have already received the memo as he was spotted at a recent event decked out in lovely shades of blue. Dressed to impress, he chose to sport a two-piece Tom Ford chambray suit in a muted shade of blue. To help accent the suit, he opted for a button-down dress shirt in dark-blue-and-white gingham print and a blue-lined pocket square. Fantastic use of the color for sure!
