Many fans protested when Megan Fox was cast to play April O’Neil in the film reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Now, it seems there’s even more for fans to be unhappy about. Based on the latest pictures of Megan Fox on the TMNT set, it looks like she won’t be wearing the yellow jumpsuit her iconic character is known for. Instead, she will be donning a yellow leather jacket.

The white boots are also gone. Instead of red, Megan’s hair is more of a dark shade of auburn.

We like this more subtle take on April O’Neil’s wardrobe because, let’s face it, in these modern times, can a reporter wear a yellow jumpsuit with white boots to work and keep a straight face?

The yellow color of Megan Fox’s leather jacket is enough of a throwback to April O’Neil for us. There is no word yet on who designed it, but it was possibly Belstaff, the clothing brand known for making jackets for movies, including Harry Potter, X-Men, and Twilight.

Do you love Megan Fox’s yellow leather jacket, regardless of her character, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, or anything else?
