It’s that time of year again. Ordinary people are rubbing shoulders with famous personalities at a music event that could be confused with a fashion event: Coachella.
Two Coachella regulars spotted dancing and having a great time were model buddies and members of the new Vogue brat pack, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
The two not only share a profession, birth year, and a penchant for music festivals but also seem to gravitate towards the same style—in Coachella, both were spotted sporting the brown vest look.
1. Gigi Hadid Channeled Her Inner ‘70s Rock Star

She wore a fringed vest from ASOS, topped with a black crocheted “Emma” bralette from Alice + Olivia and cut-off shorts. The 19-year-old accessorized heavily with a chain belt, necklaces, and sticker bindi.

Gigi carried a “Mini Stag Bag” from Etienne Aigner and completed the outfit with suede ankle boots from H&M.
2. Kendall Jenner Tried to Look Effortlessly Chic

Kendall wore a brown cropped vest from Derek Lam over her Isabel Marant bra and teamed it up with denim Bermuda shorts.
The reality star/model echoed Gigi’s styling with her fringed bag, belted waist, chunky accessories, and Saint Laurent ankle boots.

We’re very impressed with both looks. Both outfits are spot-on for an event like Coachella. Kendall’s bra option might be too racy for some, but her shorts balanced out the look. As for Gigi, that fringed vest is a keeper.
