We approve of Kate Hudson’s way of combating the New York chill in gorgeous outerwear.
A few days ago, the 36-year-old was spotted returning to her hotel in a floor-grazing double-breasted coat from French high-end luxury fashion house Chloé.

We aren’t even interested in what she has on underneath. The maxi coat alone gives so much statement it leaves us disinterested in the other elements of the outfit.

The coat has exaggerated collars, two pockets to slip your hands in, and a gorgeous, fall-perfect navy color. Kate wore it over what looked like a red jumpsuit and a pair of red shoes.

It turns out the successful movie actress had attended the 2016 Campari Calendar Launch in a red sequined Naeem Khan Resort 2016 jumpsuit.
“For me, this project meant much more than producing a calendar; it was a creative process telling a great story. It was a fabulous campaign that challenged me to bring out two different sides of myself to ensure that the pictures told the story in a creative and beautiful way and that is exactly what we’ve achieved,” Kate said in a statement about the liquor brand.
