Meet the Top 10 Jacket Bloggers of February 2013

Jackets are plentiful this month, what with the frigid weather and all. But the weather is not enough to pull our favorite bloggers into a fashion rut. In fact, they are as creative as ever in assembling outfits that are as inspiring as they are eye-catching.

As we bid goodbye to February, we list down all the favorite jacket looks we have seen from stylish bloggers this month!

1. Bebe Z. from Las Vegas

What is not to love about Bebe from FTBH’s colorful jacket? The ’90s vibe of this outfit is impossible to miss. The jacket is exactly the item you need in your closet to chase away the gloom that comes with the winter season, don’t you agree?

2. Tienlyn from San Francisco

Say Hello Max blogger Tienlyn styles up a pleated maxi skirt with an edgy leather collarless jacket. But this isn’t your run-of-the-mill jacket. It has been embellished with circle studs, giving this look the best of vintage and modern fashion.

3. Virgit from Amsterdam

Pearl-adorned jacket, anyone? We’re drooling over that gorgeous pearl-adorned jacket that Virgit from Preppy Fashionist wore in this outfit. It’s a classic piece that you can still wear a decade from now.

I love how Virgit styled this jacket but on warmer days, you can dress it down with matching black high-waisted shorts, a collared top, and ankle-strap sandals for a chic look.

4. Nancy from Berlin

Nothing puts me in awe quite like Nancy from The Sea of Fertility’s Parisian-esque style. She has no qualms in channeling the menswear vibe. Her looks are true to her aesthetic. This look is especially exquisite, thanks to her Marc Jacobs inner jacket and Marc Cain trench coat.

5. Luna from United States

This look of Luna from Lulutresors actually reminds me of Ginnifer Goodwin’s look that we featured a couple of weeks ago. Ginnifer wore a similar blue Nonoo jacket and a similar top.

I love this look to death because of its retro vibe. Luna really knows how to piece together items that make an outfit cohesive. I am particularly enamored with that blue jacket and its clashing white piping. Love!

6. Elizabeth from the United States

Elizabeth from the Miss Strange Name blog is a master print clasher. If you want to see an outfit so saturated with colors and print, go to her blog. She has that in her virtual space and more.

This particular outfit boasts of a floral-printed bomber jacket. I haven’t seen a lot of its kind lately. I mean there’s a multitude of leather bomber jackets out there but not a lot of floral-printed ones, so this look is refreshing to the eyes.

7. Alice from London

Alice Point blogger, Alice, took her Kenzo fruit-print jacket out for a spin. I can’t tear my eyes off it. I think I haven’t gotten enough of D&G’s fruit print revival, so seeing it now in this Kenzo jacket is keeping my addiction alive.

8. Caroline from Sweden

What’s the best way to look chic in February in the midst of the achingly cold winter? Wear a coat just like Caroline’s from The Caroline. Luxurious and totally rad. Keep it chic with a pair of printed jeggings and sky-high boots.

9. Wioletta from Poland

Wioletta from Mary-Kate Fashion donned a glittery number this month. Glittery clothing never fails to interject a festive flair in outfits, so if you are planning to go all monochrome for the day, keep it interesting with a glittery jacket.

10. Chantal from China/Canada

The Free Island blogger, Chantal, amazes with her studded leather jacket. Those embellished sleeves made this outfit look cooler in my eyes.

Let’s take a brief pause and assimilate the awesomeness of these bloggers. I’m curious to see what the blogosphere will come up next month. We’ll just have to wait and see, right?
